CFF '06-'07 Support Drive

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who contributed in the 2005-2006 Support Drive. It was a transition year and was only possible due to your generosity.

As 2006 draws to a close, we find ourselves entering our second year on a "dedicated server". Being on a dedicated server has meant less problems, less downtime, faster page loading.

The cost for the dedicated server is $203.31 quarterly. Some of this cost is off set by various ad banners on the site (amazon.com, google ads, cafe press etc) However those do not generate enough income to support the site. We rely on the generous support of our members

As in the past..there is no "minimum" donation required. Whatever you can afford is fine. No donation is too small. In past years one of our moderators came up with $24 a year as a goal amount. We realize that not everyone can afford that..and we thank those who are able to pay more than the goal amount.

If you are in a postition to donate now you can use the PAYPAL button below to donate directly to the CFF account.. or if you prefer to send a check snail mail please email me at mpit55@aol.com. Also, if you cannot donate right now, that is fine. We accept donations all through the year. So if you cannot donate before November 1, you can donate later ..in time for the next payment.

This year, anyone who donates any amount and is a member of the forum,
will have "CFF '06-'07 Supporter under their avatar as an added rank.

As in the past, I would like to express my gratitude to the people who frequent this site and support it in all ways. I could never run this site without everyone's help, financially, emotionally and with submissions of news and scans. Most of you know that I started this back in 2001 as a hobby and as a way to learn website design it took on a life of it's own..and has grown to the be the large successful site that is today with the support of many, many people. The members at this site have become a "second family" to me ..and I think alot of you feel the same way. It is a great group of fans and I know that Colin appreciates that. But most of all... I want you to now how much I appreciate you all!!
