Tigerland star, Colin Farrell has been confirmed to play opposite Ben Affleck in a new $50 million movie, Daredevil. The film is based on a script of the Marvel Comics 'Daredevil' saga and will begin production later this year.

The 26 year old Dublin star is currently in Canada filming the Farm with Oscar winner, Al Pacino. Farrell has joined Hollywood's A-list of actors following his acclaimed role in the Vietnam boot camp flick, Tigerland. He made a number of movies last year including Phone Booth, Minority Report and Hart's War starring Bruce Willis.

Farrell married 19 year old English actress, Ameila Warner last year but the couple split after just a couple of months.
