I’ve had a few people ask recently about the status of Colin’s upcoming project “At Swim Two Birds”. The last thing that I had heard was that it was still in the “financing stage” and it seems that Brendan Gleeson has confirmed that. In a recent interview, Gleeson was asked about the status of “At Swim Two Birds”:
“Well, fingers crossed, we’re trying to stitch it in this year. All things are going well but we’re not quite there yet. We’re hoping to be there in the next month or two to where we put a start date on it,” Gleeson says.
The cast, if the film gets green lit, reads like a who’s who of Irish acting royalty, including Michael Fassbender, Cillian Murphy, Colin Farrell and Jonathan Rhys Meyers for a start.
“This has been going for a while now. I’m trying not to get too hyped up about anything. I’m waiting for the apple to fall essentially. Fingers crossed and it’s all in place. Hopefully we’ll get the go-ahead.”

I sure hope it gets is financing & its green light soon! I’ve been excited about this 1 since I 1st came to hear of it & the wonderful cast inline for it. Colin has spoken very highly of this project, anxious to be apart of & to get it going officially. Hopefully it all works out & this year finally sees the start up!!! And we see the movie next year!! Fingers crossed for you guys!!!
