Colin Wins “Best Actor” at IFTA!
Congratulations to Colin Farrell for winning the award for “Best Actor” for his role in “Ondine” at The Irish Film and Television Awards. Other nominees were Stephen Rae, Ciaran Hinds and Darren Healy.

Triage UK Premiere at Human Rights Inter. Film Fest
UK residents can see the premiere of “Triage” on 20 March 2010 at the Human Right’s Watch International Film Festival in London. The festival, which runs March 17-26 will be showing “Triage” at the Institute of Contemporary Arts.

“Triage” is also being screened at the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival in Toronto on 25 February 2010 at 7:00pm. The Toronto festival runs February 24 – March 6, 2010. You can purchase tickets for the Toronto “Triage” screening HERE.

Colin Confirmed to Attend IFTAs
Sources are reporting that Colin, a nominee for “Best Actor” for his role in “Ondine”, is confirmed to attend The Irish Film & Television Awards in Dublin’s Burlington Hotel on February 20. This makes sense since he will be in Dublin for the screening of “Ondine” on February 18th at the Dublin International Film Festival.

Colin Farrell — shortlisted for best actor in a lead role for Ondine — will also attend the seventh annual IFTAs, as will Brendan Gleeson, Saoirse Ronan, Neil Jordan and Jim Sheridan.

Colin Confirmed to Attend Dublin Int Film Fest
As we reported earlier, Ondine will open this year’s Dublin International Film Festival on February 18, 2010. We now have confirmation that both Colin and Neil Jordan will attend the screening.

Colin Participates in Designing “Beacons of Hope” Angel
Angels on Display
The 2.4m tall fiberglass angels were constructed from a single mold. Some of Ireland’s finest artists, musicians, sports people and celebrities along with a number of international guests have been invited to participate and support this fun initiative by painting and decorating one of the angels using their own designs to show the nation their interpretation of Hope.
