Every year that Colin Farrell is in Dublin for the holidays, he makes a visit to a local hospital. These events are always done with no publicity and no fanfare. We always find out about them from someone who shares a photo or story of seeing Colin making his annual visit. This year Colin visited Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
This year @MarRadford shared the following photo on twitter:
Colin Farrell visited Crumlin Hosp today and gave my little sick nephew a wee hug…

Here is another photo and some more info from GossipCop.com

Various relatives of the children, however, tweeted about Farrell’s visit.
One noted, “Just chatting with #ColinFarrell who is in with presents for the kids here in #Crumlin. No tv/media, a gentleman and genuine.”
Another tweeted, “Just met Colin Farrell he came to meet the kids in crumlin hospital really nice man. fair play to him putting a smile on the childrens faces.”
That same parent noted Farrell brought “the whole hospital… presents,” adding, “Farrell is a real genuine guy alright. ”

In the past The ISPCC’s ‘I Can’t Wait Until I Grow Up’ campaign featured a video which some felt went too far. A Journal.ie poll revealed that the majority of people felt that the video, which depicted violence against a small boy to be “graphic but real”.
